The Armenian Genocide issue has not been put to the vote during Knesset’s plenum on Tuesday, representative of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The Knesset members discussed the issue, but it was not put to the vote, since the government representatives proposed to discuss the issue at the education committee,” Fr. Koryun said.

Several dozens of citizens held a protest action near the Israeli parliament’s building demanding recognition  of the Armenian Genocide.
